Whatever he did, from throwing hissy tantrums, arrogantly ordering his manager ‘Bittu ji’ (another lovable character), ignoring his mother and brushing off Deepali’s advances had us in a spin! His dialogues! He had razor-sharp lines which either made us feel bad for the character he was insulting or laughing along with him sharing his wicked sense of humour.Īnd last but definitely not the least was his oh-so-different romantic side. (so much so that, I half expected an article about him in the local entertainment bulletin) He had me (and most of the viewers) believe that he was indeed a famous actor, in the top league of the film industry. ‘Aha’! The one expression which killed it all! The way he said it, when he was annoyed, upset or even impressed was a simple trademark. Sure, it lost its plot a couple of times, but it never lost its viewers, including me.Ī.K.A.
